Daniel T. Pickett III  
Chairman of the Board & Chief Executive Officer - nfrastructure

Daniel T. Pickett III is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of nfrastructure. Mr. Pickett was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in July of 2008 and has served as Chairman of the Board since 2005. Mr. Pickett is also President of Hudson River Capital Holdings, a private investment boutique whose major positions include XSell and TRI Group Holdings.

Prior to joining nfrastructure, Mr. Pickett was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Banking Solutions at ALLTEL, which he joined following the acquisition of ACE Software Sciences, a software company he founded in 1995. At ALLTEL, Mr. Pickett was responsible for a global customer portfolio that generated over $1 billion in total revenue and for over 1,000 employees.

Mr. Pickett began his career in 1990 with KeyCorp in Albany, New York. At KeyCorp, Mr. Pickett held a series of positions in technology and operations. He played a key role on KeyCorp's M&A team, responsible for integrating the retail delivery platforms and networks of more than a dozen acquisitions over a five year period and rising to vice president. While at KeyCorp, Mr. Pickett was also responsible for the company's Advanced Technologies Division.

Mr. Pickett holds a degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is also an avid supporter of Gilda's Club and other local charities. He resides in Clifton Park, New York with his wife, Janine, and three children.

 

John A. Pickett 
Vice Chairman & Senior Managing Director - nfrastructure

John A. Pickett is Founder, Vice Chairman and Senior Managing Director of nfrastructure. Mr. Pickett is directly involved in developing the Company's overall business strategy, ensuring complete customer satisfaction, and managing its Structured Cabling & Security and Asset Recovery businesses. Mr. Pickett is also President of Frank Lewis Holdings, a private investment boutique that specializes in commercial real estate and related transactions.

Mr. Pickett holds a degree in Electrical and Construction Management from the State University of New York. He resides in Mechanicville, New York with his wife, Amy, and two children.

 

Robert H. Samson 
General Manager – IBM global Public Sector (Retired)

Robert (Bob) Samson was General Manager of IBM’s Global Public Sector since January 2006, responsible for sales of IBM solutions and technologies to governments, education, healthcare and life sciences industries.  In this capacity his organization included over 10,000 IBMers from around the world who work with Public Sector clients. He was also a member of IBM’s Performance Team comprised of the Companies top 40 senior executives. In addition, he was a member of the Integration and Values team focused on living IBMs unique values in the marketplace.

Since Bob joined IBM in 1973 he has held sales management and executive positions in a number of US locations.  He was named Vice President of State and Local Government in 1995, and Vice President Public Sector for North, South and Central America in 1999.  In January 2000 he was named Vice President Worldwide Sales and Operations for IBMs Storage Systems Group and in  2003 he was named group Vice President for Worldwide Systems Sales with global responsibility for server, storage, supercomputer and advanced technology sales.  In 2006 Mr. Samson returned to the Public Sector as the General Manager for Global Public Sector.  In May of 2006 Mr. Samson received a lifetime achievement award from Government  VAR magazine in recognition of his many years of working with governments around the world.  In April 2008, EWeek, CIO Insight and Baseline named him one of the 100 most influential people in the technology industry.  Mr. Samson’s most recent speech delivered at the National Defense University, “Challenges and Opportunities the Power of Values to Change the World” appears in the September issue of VITAL SPEECHES OF THE DAY.  In 2002 Bob had the unique opportunity to be an Olympic Torch Bearer for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in recognition of his many years of volunteer work with a number of organizations.  Mr. Samson is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.  He also completed the Program for Management Development  (PMD60) at the Harvard Business School.  He  serves on the Boards of  Wake Forest Calloway/Babcock School of Business, the New York State Museum and the Deerfoot Lodge camp for boys.  Bob has been active in his Church serving as Senior Elder.  

Bob and his wife Linda live just outside of Albany, NY.  They have 3 children, Rob, Dan and Sarah as well as a daughter in law Jennifer and son in law Benjamin.

 

Robert E. Blackman

Co-founder Blackman & DeStefano Real Estate

Robert (Bob) Blackman is currently the Vice President of Realty USA as well as the Co-founder of Blackman & DeStefano Real Estate.  Bob’s impressive list of board involvement includes numerous noteworthy clubs and foundations.  Bob is currently Board Chair of Gildas Club in the capital region, whose mission is to create welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer.  He is also a current board member of the Center for Economic Growth as well as the Executive committee which has been at the forefront of economic development initiatives and public policy discussions affecting the 1.1 million residents of New York’s Capital Region and Tech Valley.   Bob is also the secretary of the AAA Hudson valley and a member of the Fort Orange Club Board. 

In the past, Bob was the President of Greater Capital Association of Realtors which produces a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation.  Bob was also a director of Camp Good Days and Special times, as well as the March of times.  He served a as a director on the Upstate Advisory Board of Chase Manhattan Bank, the Albany Memorial Hospital Foundation,  the New York State Association of Realtors and the Albany Country Club.  Bob is also the past president of Sales and Marketing Executives Association and the Vice Chair of the Northeast Foundation.  He served as the chair of the WMHT Great Auction in 2006! 

Bob and his wife Martha have been married since 1969 and have two married children, son Peter and daughter Sandi. 

 

John C. Lemery

John Lemery is currently an AV-rated attorney at Lemery Greisler LLC Attorneys at Law.  John has been practicing law in the Capital Region for more than 40 years.  He specializes in economic development with a focus on siting, financing, structuring, as well as all other aspects of economic development.  John has many impressive accomplishments, including being the primary attorney responsible for the development of the $46 million Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and Indoor Waterpark and worked together with his firm to represent the developers of the 1,350-acre Luther Forest Technology Campus.  This accomplishment is considered the largest economic development project in Upstate New York.

John partakes in multiple committees, where he serves on the Member Loan Committee of the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation and is a member of the Economic Development Counsel of the State University of New York at Albany, and was a former member on the Regional Advisory Board of the US Small Business Administration.  John is also an active participant in community service across the Capital Region.

John received the Saratoga County Economic Development Corporation’s Economic Development Award for Exceptional Economic Development Leadership in 1996.

John served as a Captain in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967.
