The initiative is part of the Commissioner’s ongoing effort to improve efficiency in the delivery of critical services throughout New York State’s correctional facility system.
DOCCS has replaced costly and bulky large-volume books in each law library with an electronic, digital system that included secure routers, printers, and thin client computers that access a commercial off-the-shelf law library package.
