2009 January · Tony Riccio Joins nfrastructure as Senior Managing Director of Sales
Albany, New York, January 5, 2009 – nfrastructure, a technology boutique that helps large enterprises design, build and operate mission critical technology infrastructure, announced today that Tony Riccio joined the company as Senior Managing Director of Sales.
Riccio, 47, reports to Dan Pickett, nfrastructure’s Chairman & CEO, and is responsible for driving the sales strategy of the company’s offerings in data center, networking, security, unified communications, public safety, end-point, structured cabling and outsourcing.
In welcoming Riccio to the company, Pickett acknowledged the strong contribution that he will bring. "Tony has more than 20 years of experience selling mission critical technology solutions to large enterprises and has demonstrated his ability to forge high-performing teams that architect, execute and close large deals. I’m confident he’ll do the same for nfrastructure.”
Riccio joins nfrastructure from Juniper Networks, where he served as Global Account Manager for customers that included Bloomberg, Vonage and the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Riccio began his career in 1984 with IBM, where he held a series of positions in accounting and finance before he moved into IBM’s technology group. In his technology capacity, he supported numerous Fortune 100 companies including General Electric and Bank of America as they implemented mission critical voice and data networks.
