MALTA, NY- nfrastructure announced today the addition of Jack Benson, as director of managed services. Benson brings nearly 30 years of operational experience with New York State government to nfrastructure. His responsibilities include overseeing customer cloud computing environments and solutions as well as internal IT operations to support nfrastructure employees.

“Jack’s wealth of knowledge and experience will be a tremendous enhancement to our customers who rely on us to help them meet their critical business requirements,” said Daniel T. Pickett, nfrastructure chairman and CEO.

Prior to joining nfrastructure, Benson spent the last ten years working for the New York State Office for Technology (OFT) as the director of customer network solutions and managed more than three hundred people. Prior to NYS OFT, he worked for the NYS Department of Labor as network manager. Benson was a key component in the planning and execution of consolidating agencies’ networks and oversaw all aspects of day-to-day data communications.

Mr. Benson earned his Bachelors of Arts from Siena College with additional focuses in economics and statistics. He resides in Wynantskill, NY.
