2011 December · nfrastructure Hires Former NYS Office for Technology IT Director
MALTA, NY- nfrastructure announced today that David Runyon has joined its leadership team as distinguished technology advisor. Runyon brings more than 35 years of experience in mainframe systems programming, application and network design, and systems architect.
“Dave’s vast technological experience and knowledge is an asset to our executive team as nfrastructure grows and expands its capabilities and offerings,” said Daniel T. Pickett, nfrastructure chairman and CEO. “More importantly, Dave’s talents will be beneficial in helping our customers grow and reach their fullest potential.”
Prior to joining nfrastructure, Runyon spent the last seven years with the New York State Office for Technology as director of operations and strategic planning. He was responsible for all operational systems including state data centers, telecommunications, and customer networking solutions.
From 1997-2002, Runyon served as director of information technologies for the NYS Office of General Services where he oversaw all internal technology needs of the agency. Prior to NYS OGS, Runyon worked for the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles as director of IT technical services. He managed computer operations and was instrumental in transforming the agency into a valuable and effective resource for NYS constituents through the utilization of technology.

Runyon holds a degree in data processing from Dutchess Community College. He resides in Clifton Park NY.
