Overview

When it comes to desktop IT, rapid and continuous change is a fact of life. Constantly changing technologies and products are confronting IT departments on a regular basis. As a part of a project, or on an incident basis, nfrastructure has the field technician network to support Install, Move, Add, Change, De-Install (IMACD) activities across the country.

The delivery of these planned activities are one of nfrastructure’s most mature service products. For over seventeen years, these planned activities have been captured as intellectual capital, reflecting our experience in the Retail, Finance, and Public sectors, amongst others. nfrastructure’s experience and flexibility allows us to support an “any IP device” strategy. This means that we can apply our intellectual capital, planning, and processes for IMACD events to any IP device, including but not limited to desktop, switches, routers and Wintel servers.

nfrastructure helps large enterprises Operate using Service Desk - IMACD, with focus on the following:

  • Field quality, offering expert on-site services to fulfill lifecycle Install, Move, Add, Change, and De-install activity
  • Validation of the project design
  • Qualification of the delivery teams involved in the execution of the project
  • Creation of the project on-boarding materials, including review and improvement to installation steps
  • Attendance of pilot activities, with feedback and adjustments
  • Monitoring of field performance, including spot checks
  • CIMS (Customer Inventory Management System) project and materials management technology
  • Participation in project office closeouts to capture lessons learned
